Welcome to Pressed in Time! I'm Alissa, the passionate artist and creator behind this site, where I turn nature's fleeting beauty into timeless treasures. My journey with flower pressing began in 2020 when I first discovered the delicate artistry of preserving flowers. In an effort to save some hydrangeas my two young kids picked, I decided to try pressing just to see what would happen. Since then, I’ve been captivated by how each petal, leaf, and stem tells a unique story, capturing moments of beauty that would otherwise fade away. Over these years, through trial and a fair share of errors, I have found which techniques work best for the different varieties of flowers. 

Each piece I create is handcrafted with care, ensuring that the colors and textures of nature are beautifully preserved in a way that feels as fresh and vibrant as the day they were picked. From pressed flower art to custom designs for special occasions, my goal is to help you celebrate the beauty of nature, no matter the season.
